Why did I choose my major?

My parents always tell me how much I love music since I was born, they say that I would often stand near the window of my room every morning and start singing. In school, I could learn songs just from hearing them in music class, even though I did not know how to play any instruments, I’d participate in chorus class, that’s how my teacher talked to my parents to get them to join me in the music school, which were some special classes that we would take on Saturdays just to learn music. It was then when I started to sing and play the violin, I was around 8 years old at the time. 4 years later, I did not progress as much as I’d like to, thanks to having my concentration in another things, when I turned 11, I had to choose between violin or chore, because the schedules were incompatible, I chose the violin because I thought that I have more room for improvement with it.

I started my violin classes and joined my school’s junior orchestra; I was learning at a low pace. When I was around 15 years old, I decided to really put effort on the violin and I became a great student at it, after that, I joined the Youth Symphonic Orchestra of Puente Alto, at the end of 2016 my teacher at the orchestra prepared me for the admission at the Art School of the University of Chile and I was chosen to join the career and a new world in the music scene.

It was hard to me, because I was at my senior year in high school and in my first year at the University, but even if I didn´t had time for a lot of things and it´s hard, I love my career because it helps me to bring the best of me and I enjoy every moment of it. I am very enthusiast on keep studying. I´m on my 5th year of university and I keep on learning everyday!

Thank you for reading, see you later! ☼
